Glenbrae School Clubs

Glenbrae School Clubs

On Thursday afternoon Glenbrae School had it's first school clubs for term 2 2016. The clubs were Hip Hop/Street Dance, Sewing, Science of sounds, Line Dance and a few other clubs. I am in Line Dance with Mrs Tofa and a few students younger then me, I was the oldest there. In my club Line Dance teached by Mrs Tofa, we learnt the steps of the Wobble Wobble line dance step by step, it was easy to do the Wobble Wobble line dance. But then we had to learn the Footloose line dance step by step, it was a bit faster than the the Wobble Wobble line dance and at times I was confused (lost in order). Until it came to the time of playing a game of 'Hide & Clap' (A game off The Conjuring movie), Richie got the chance to be blind folded first and was so close to me but didn't get me, it came to a turn of mine, I was blindfolded and went moving around trying to get the people hiding. I enjoyed my club with Mrs Tofa and those few students because we learnt something new that some of us student didn't even know about and got to play a game with the little lot of students we had in our club.

Thank you Mrs Tofa for a wonderful Thursday evening.

I really do believe in practice makes perfect. The second time we had clubs the dancing was better. With Footloose it is such an awesome dance if done properly. Six more sessions then show time :)
