Yesterday Friday afternoon we had an assembly hosted by room 8 students. At that assembly we knew that there was going to be 3 clubs who will perform what they have been practising for our entire school to be entertained by.
These 3 clubs were Line Dancing with Mrs Tofa, Acapella with Miss Stone and Drumming with Mr Nath. But unfortunately I think my club with Mrs Tofa, Line Dancing could not perform today secluded to the time of our performance and the time to go home.
Anyways the 2 clubs that had got the chances to perform yesterday did a great job of performing what they have learnt as well as what they have been practising for that day to come.
First group up Acapella with Miss Stone, they had been given a beat from Chris using the skill of pencil tapping which was amazing to use one of his talents and abilities to do in the form of the others singing the song 'Stand by Me by Ben E King'. They were brave and strong to sing this without any background music or instrumental just the beat given by Chris which was interesting and entertaining. They were proud of what they all did and they all completed a successful mission, I hope they use the skills they have learnt in the future and now on.
Next group up, Drumming with Mr Nath, in the drumming club they have learnt many skills and many ways of making beats and joining beats together to make a wonderful entertaining sound. As there performance they have learnt for us that afternoon, they presented an entertaining beat using the drums, I was impressed by the way they used the bass drum.
Anyways it was a wonderful afternoon to be watching those two clubs perform and entertain us all not just that but I cannot wait until it is my club's turn to perform to the school.
