At 1.30pm on a Saturday afternoon I was passing people collecting socks and wristbands making my way up 6 steps of the staircase to where the life in the air begins, JUMP. Jump at East Tamaki is where my little niece named Isadora will have her birthday party assembled at.
We went over some rules before moving and motivating physically on the trampoline's for five minutes. Children's eyes filled up with excitement and adults. Up the stairs they jumped within the 2 hours they had and during those 2 hours they had they played lots of fun games.
Next, we gathered 2 teams and went over the rules to play some dodge-ball that happened to be with a Jump supervisor crew member who watched us as we played. Lots of throwing around and excellent dodging and aiming to the other team which left my team -$4L- in the winner's spot and the other team in loser spot.
Later on we moved on over to the basketball hoop shoot where lots of us did tricks to extend it with a dunk but not better than MJ's (Michael Jordan) dunk. Most of us fell: we hit the tramp but came right back up and said “BOOM”. I heard everyone's laughter when I tried to do my dunk in. But we carried on.
Finally we made our way upstairs to the party room where my little niece tried to blow out her candle so her mummy helped her to blow it out. Then the little kids ate yummy food while us big kids went to buy a hot chocolate and a brownie at the cafe downstairs.
I also saw Ali Jon from the juniors at Jump.
I felt excited because it was my first experience at Jump East Tamaki.

Sounds like you had a fabulous time there Linda Kiki! What a great place to have a birthday party.
Wow! That looks like an amazing party. I also attended a kid’s birthday party last year in one of the event venues Chicago. They had ample of games just like your party and dodge-ball is super fun when you play with kids. It must have been fun.
