Activity 1: While in Taupo, you go for a walk around the lake and you notice pieces of rubbish floating in the water. You also notice that there is rubbish on the footpath. As you know, it is really important to put rubbish in the bin and keep New Zealand clean and beautiful for generations to come.
With that in mind, it is time think about what you can do to keep New Zealand beautiful. Use your imagination and come up with three things that you could do to make your neighbourhood more beautiful. Post your list on your blog ☺
1. Install Rubbish bins in the neighbourhood.
2. Make putting rubbish in the bin fun, like a game that leads the rubbish to the bin.
3. Tell people what rubbish could do if we don't put it in the rubbish bin.
One day we will gather and make our neighbourhood more beautiful again, less rubbish more fauna and flora.

You have come up with some great ideas for the ways in which we can keep our country beautiful. I particularly like the idea of installing rubbish bins in the neighbourhood. That is such a good idea! We could definitely use more of those out my way. (I live on the west side of Auckland).
