Netball Session with Anne

Today room 7 and I went to the school courts to play our Kiwi Sport called Netball with coach Anne.  Anne then told us to buddy up with a partner we played a game to warm us up called High and Low, If Anne said "High" we had to jog to our partner hi-five up high and then jump to turn around and jog back to the white line, If Anne said "Low" we had to jog and hi-five low then pivot towards we came from and again jog back.

Anne taught us how to pivot in a game of relays chess passing the ball on the spot going forwards she also taught us how to jump in the air, chest pass and dodge pass. Pivot is when you go forward on your toes moving only 1 feet forward. Chess pass is where you pass from your chess up and dodge pass is when you take steps out and then come back in to catch the ball.

We then played a game against the people in red and purple bibs, I was in the team where we had no bibs. We played a game of Rugby Netball where you have the rules of Netball and trying a score of a Rugby game. We had to line up on the sperate yellow lines so Anne can throw the ball in the centre for us to catch. We lost the game by ten to seven. Luisa scored the last try for her team with the coloured bibs.

We all then went back to class.
