Kiwi Sport, Netball Session with Anne

On a warm winter morning, room 7 had Kiwi Sport for the last few weeks every Thursdays in the morning. We lined up on outside, arriving on the courts of Glenbrae School we said "Morning" to Anne. Getting ready for the session we had a warm up game called Shadow follow that involves defending, I learnt from this warm up game that you have to be at least 2 ft apart with your shadow follower. Next we had a activity of Intercept, this involves stepping in, timing and passing also four people, I learnt from this activity that you can step in and catch the ball without contacting the person. Then we had the Four Corner attack/defending activity, people will have to have at least eight to ten people in a group to play, this game has to have one person on a number from one to four with a ball, a number caller, a defender and a attack. It was a sort of medium levelled game because the attacker was good. Last but not least the shooting activity, I learnt that you can shoot with not so much power. The points were 24 to 17, and my team WON!. Then we came back to class.

That's what I learnt from our Kiwi Sport of Netball on the courts.
