Financial Literacy Session

This morning we had a Financial Literacy Session with Hannah and Kalsey. They came in today to talk to us about saving for today's lesson. As a part of saving we talked about how to save and how to cut our expenses. Also what we would do in action to use the money you properly saved. Not just that but how to be wisely about using the money we saved.

Talking about saving money we were given an activity to see if a girl named Aroha made a good choice in spending her money on some things a girl would buy just not in one go. This girl named Aroha had bought some things and here are 2 of the items she bought, Itunes Download Converter online for 13.00$ dollars and a gift for here mother. If I was to say which was a good choice and wisely choice to spend her money on I would say getting her mother a gift which is more useful and nice instead of buying an Itunes Download Converter for 13.00$ dollars when you could listen to free music on Youtube, Sound Cloud and munch more free sites that provide free music.

Anyways moving on we talked about our answers, then after that we got into groups, in our groups we were given a sheet of white paper. Having to fold it in half we had to write on one side how to get money and on the other how to cut your expenses down. We all had useful ideas for this activity, as we all had great fun and ideas coming in which was great. I couldn't chose which one of my favourite for these two topics because we all had great ideas for these two topics. As usual we would talk about it and receive a treat.

After that we finished up with our session and carried on with our normal day.
